You’ll be one of the first people customers speak with when they contact Vortex. Your job is to understand what they need, answer their questions, explain the appropriate service, follow up consistently, and schedule qualified customers with our technicians. This is not a traditional cold-calling position. Most outbound calls will be made to warm leads who have previously contacted Vortex, requested information, received an estimate, or expressed interest in one of our services. ### What you’ll do - Answer incoming sales calls and respond to new customer inquiries - Call and follow up with warm leads in our existing pipeline - Ask questions to understand each customer’s needs - Explain Vortex’s services, pricing, processes, and available options - Answer common questions and address customer concerns - Recommend the appropriate next step - Schedule appointments and jobs with the correct technicians - Confirm customer information and appointment details - Maintain accurate lead notes and follow-up dates - Follow up on open estimates and unscheduled opportunities - Communicate with technicians and office staff to keep scheduling organized - Work toward individual and company sales goals ### What we’re looking for - Previous phone sales, customer service, appointment-setting, or call-center experience preferred - Comfortable making multiple outbound follow-up calls each day - Confident, friendly, and professional on the phone - Able to listen carefully and ask helpful questions - Comfortable discussing pricing and asking customers to schedule - Organized and consistent with follow-up - Able to manage several conversations and leads at once - Comfortable learning new software and updating customer records - Dependable, coachable, and motivated by measurable goals - Home-service, restoration, HVAC, construction, or property-service experience is helpful but not required ### Compensation and growth - Competitive base salary - Commission based on qualified sales or completed jobs - Training on Vortex services, pricing, software, and sales processes - Opportunities to earn more as performance increases - Potential for advancement as the company grows ## Apply Now Fields marked with \* are required.
