1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at vortexductcleaning.com and any services provided by Vortex Air Duct Cleaning, Restoration, General Contractor ("Vortex," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our site or requesting our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

Vortex provides air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, mold remediation, mold inspection, water extraction, trauma and biohazard cleanup, hoarding cleanup, indoor air quality solutions, and general contracting services (including kitchen remodel, drywall installation, flooring, and handyman services) in Derby, Wichita, and the surrounding Kansas service area. All services are subject to a separate written estimate or service agreement.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Quotes and estimates provided through this site or over the phone are approximate and based on the information you provide. Final pricing is determined after an on-site assessment and confirmed in a written service agreement. Convenience fees may apply to certain payment methods.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

Services are performed by appointment. We ask that you provide reasonable notice (at least 24 hours) for cancellations or rescheduling. During flood, water damage, or biohazard emergencies, response times may be extended due to demand.

5. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of services. We accept cash, check, ACH, debit, and credit card. Past-due balances may accrue late fees and be referred to collections.

6. Warranty and Limitation of Liability

We stand behind our workmanship as described in each written service agreement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vortex is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website or our services. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Insurance and Licensing

Vortex is a licensed general contractor (GC license #11467) and carries commercial liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.

8. Property Access and Homeowner Responsibility

You represent that you own the property or have authority to authorize services at the property. You agree to provide safe access to the work area and disclose known hazards (asbestos, lead, structural issues, pets, etc.) prior to service.

9. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape content, or use the site for unlawful purposes. All content, logos, images, and copy on this site are the property of Vortex or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites for reference (for example, EPA, CDC, or partner tools). We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites.

11. Communications and SMS

By submitting a quote request or contact form, you consent to be contacted by Vortex via phone, SMS, or email regarding your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text or by contacting us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date and will be effective as soon as it is posted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sedgwick County, Kansas.
